Streamed Session Jamboree – From Famine to Plenty Posted 10 June 2017 by Julie GoucherEarlier this week the Guild shared the contribution to be made by various Guild members at the Jamboree hosted by the Southern California Genealogical Society. It was mentioned in that earlier post that some of the sessions would be streamed (as long as you registered, which you can still do!) The image you can see here is the opening slide from the session by Guild member, Tessa Keough. The session was not about her One-Name Study in an obvious way, but it was about using focus on our research, whether that is for a One-Name Study or our personal genealogy or any other historical project for that matter. I personally found the presentation very interesting and I hope you do too. You can find the presentation HERE. Remember, you do need to register, which you still do at this page. You can also download the presentation syllabus when you sign in. You can contact Tessa should you have any questions by emailing her or if you are at Jamboree by catching her at the Guild stand in the exhibition hall. The exhibition call is open: Friday 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Sunday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
