Inscription details Inscription ID:318 Brief Description:War Memorial at Diss, Norfolk. Type:War Memorial Detail:The Memorial is situated outside the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Diss, Norfolk. It has four panels, the main one and three additional panels at its foot. The main panel is for WW1, as are the right and left lower panels; the centre one is for WW2 names. Inscription:To the glory of God and as a tribute of honour to the men of Diss who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-18 this memorial is affectionately dedicated by the inhabitants of Diss AD 1921.
