Guild Registered Societies Error There was a problem with your SQL connection - Please contact the administrator The Guild of One-Name Studies is keen to encourage societies that focus on a surname. Only individuals can become Guild members but societies can enjoy the benefits of membership by appointing a Society Representative. He or she needs to become a Guild member on their behalf and register the surname as a one-name study and take responsibility for it. All surnames and Society Representatives are included in the list of surnames registered with the Guild. Societies are also listed in the first section of the annual Register and on this page. The Society Representative can access all the research, publicity, and preservation tools of the Guild. These include a study alias email and a hosted and preserved website for the society. Other members of the society can join the Guild as Study Associates. This page shows the societies registered with the Guild. Those that are underlined have a website. Click on the name to see more.
