Story:

Frank Arthur Hagger – Died 3 May 1917, Private Middlesex Regiment, Service Mo G/26975.  Commemorated on teh Arras Memorial, France.  Awarded Victory and British War medals.
Frank was born in the Sudbury RD (Suffolk) in the quarter ending June 1897.  In 1901 he was living with his parents James and Ellena and his siblings James, Joseph, Dorothy and Bertha in Ballingdon, Suffolk.  In 1911 he was still living with his parents in Ballingdon and had been joined by an additional brother Basil Osborne, at this time Frank was shown as a Mat Maker.
Although from Sudbury the family spent several generations in Bourn, Cambridgeshire although it appears that Frank’s 3* Great grandfather William was living at Wrestlingworth, Bedfordshire when Franks’ 2* Great Grandfather was Thomas was baptised in 1774 on Christmas day, Thomas married in Long Stanton, Cambridgeshire but most of his children were baptised at Bourn.
