Leonard Drake

Leonard was the second son of William Henry Drake and Mary Ann (formerly Robinson) of Hampstead, London, born 1890 London St Pancras. Leonard was educated in Scotland and in 1911 he was a banker in London.

Leonard was a 2nd Lieutenant in the 11th Battalion of the Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment) and he died 5 Oct 1916 unmarried and aged 26.

His memorial is at Dernancourt Communal Cemetery Extension Reference III.E.25
